The Elk City News - 7 Canute December 9, 2023 Ally Janning Mason Hoffman WELCOME 7 WELCOME Tg ZANg November November Senior Spotlight Senior Spotlight Ally Janning is a senior at Canute high school. She is the daughter of Andy and Dana | am Mason Hoffman. | am an 18 year old senior and have attended Janning, she has an older sister, Abby Janning, and a younger brother, Austin Janning. She Canute Public Schools almost all my life. | am the son of Mandy and is involved in FFA as the chapter secretary, and is a member of the shooting sports team Kenneth Hoffman. I've lived in Canute for pretty much my entire life. | She enjoys helping take care of herfamily's many animals and cattle farm. Her favorites of like weightlifting, running, and playing piano and guitar. | am a part of the animals being her border collie named Rooster, her7 horses, a steer named Carter that she raised from a bottle calf, and the potbelly pig named Milo that lives in the yard and the National Honors Society, Academic Team, Robotics, Esports, and thinks he's a dog. After Graduating she plans to go to OSU and study to become a vet, and Golf team. | am a member of One Church in Elk City. | plan to attend will one day have her own farm with lots of cows and many animals, just like the one she SWOSU next year majoring in some branch of kinesiology. loved getting to grow up on. Payton Buckley WELCOME To COUNT November Senior Spotlight My name is Payton Buckley. | have lived just outside of Canute my entire life. | am the son of Tabitha and Jason Buckley. | have one sister who is Kimbree. | am in Esports and golf. In my spare time | like to hunt and fish, but | mainly work. When | graduate my plan is to go to school to get my CDL. So | can drive for the company I'm working for. Richard Wright, Trapper Visnieski, & Katherine Wright helped clean the basketball stands and put new trash bags in the trash cans last game. Way to be leaders and go above and beyond! Congratulations to the JH girls on winning the championship game in the Burns Flat-Dill City Basketball Tournament. Also, congratulations to the JH boys placing runner-up.
