PG10 AT THE RODEO, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 Clown in his trailer, traveling for the past 13 weeks because he doesn’t have time to go home to Mississippi. Be- fore coming to Elk City, he will have been in Georgia. It is the life on the road, traveling from rodeo to rodeo. Myers has one son who just grad- uated from high school. He said that his son isn’t planning on following his footsteps as a clown, and that is fine with him. Myers made sure he was home for important events in his son’s life, but as a young child his son wanted to go with his father all the time. For now, his son will be attending electrician school. Southern rodeo crowds get My- er’s humor because they speak the same language and have the same cultural understanding. He said he is looking forward to the Elk City rodeo.
