10 Community March 5, 2022 FFA Taking Orders for Blue & Gold By Elk City FFA Reporter Kiera Coslow Elk City FFA is making their final order of Blue & Gold prod- ucts for this school year. In previous years the Oklahoma State FFA Convention has always been hosted in Oklahoma City. But for the very first time it is being held in Tulsa from May 3rd to May 4th. Due to the extra distance and new area, our expenses have increased significantly including gas money, food, and ho- tels for the 24 members attending. So the Elk City FFA Chap- ter is asking for your support of our Blue & Gold fundraiser. We sell sausage($8 a stick), bacon($18 a package), and chicken strips($22 a package). You can buy online https://elk-city-ffa- alumni,square.site/ or email our EFA advisor at dillinger.karie@ Pictured are Seniors Corey Culver, Mason Price and Sophomore Jackson Ivester with the three of the Blue & Gold elkcityschools.com. The deadline to buy is March 10th so mark products. Prices are a 2.5 pound roll of sausage for $8, a 5 pound bag of breaded chicken strips for $22, and 3 pounds of your calendars and don't forget! bacon for $18. Courtesy photo.
