Dating took quite a different turn for Joe f and Neva Pyatt when their courtship started years ago. Joe and Neva both had Oilfield companies. Joe’s company was a rental com- pany with inside and outside pipe wipers. Neva’s company was a service company that built fence, sand blasted pipe, cleaned casing and had welders. ‘Once when Neva needed a little bit of pipe for a small job, the company man on location suggested that she call Joe Pyatt in Elk City, as he had a small yard and probably had some pipe. Occasionally Neva and Joe would cross paths out in the oilfield where they chatted about the industry and from those times be- gan to build a friendship.
